Wow, so amazing!!!!!!!! We randomly stumbled upon this place after we gave up on waiting to get into the “famous” cafe de olla (1.5 hour wait and they had an attitude). So we gave up and found this place instead. The entrance is little hidden and unassuming, but don’t let that fool you- huge parking lot with plenty of parking. The place itself is super cute- a lot of cute bunny like decorations, unpretentious, homey. The staff- absolutely pleasant, welcoming and attentive (we had Javier who was lovely). Then comes the food- WOW. The fluffy pancakes were TRULY fluffy, the bacon thick, the eggs perfectly cooked and season. The orange juice fresh squeezed right there. SO good, much better than most renowned breakfast places we tried around LA. I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this place!!! We WILL be coming back!!! Thank you for great breakfast!!!
My husband and I flew into Burbank for the day and picked Charlie and Friends completely at random—and wow, what a find! The place has such a cute, homey vibe that instantly makes you feel welcome. The staff were super friendly and attentive. They bring out these yummy little cornbread muffins drizzled with honey when you sit down — such a nice touch. I ordered the special of the day—a chili relleno eggs benedict—and it was honestly the best eggs benedict I’ve had. Perfectly balanced flavors, creative, and absolutely delicious. The chef even came out to see how we liked it, which made the whole experience feel really personal. Later, he came back with a sample of a pumpkin spice rice pudding he was testing for a seasonal dessert (so good!). Between the amazing food, the friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere, this place completely won us over. We’ll definitely be visiting Charlie and Friends again next time we’re in Burbank!
Amazing restaurant! It is literally a hidden gem. It’s located in an out of the way place with no signage so this is definitely worth going but it’s probably word of mouth. They brought us fresh cornbread muffins to begin with and yummy brownies at the end; what a special treat. We had the pesto chicken sandwich, grilled cheese, French toast with chicken and a Cobb salad and everything was delicious! There are so many unique ideas on ordinary dishes. Really big outdoor, nice dining area with beautiful trees. We were visiting friends and I will definitely return to try something different. Highly recommend!
Had a great experience at Charlie and Friends. The eggs were perfectly cooked - fresh, flavorful, and exactly how you’d want to start your morning. You can tell they put care into the quality of their food The patio is a big plus too - super comfortable and actually enjoyable to sit outside, especially with the relaxed vibe. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for a casual breakfast or brunch with outdoor seating
The Eggs Benedict and Burrito were both delicious! They even brought out little cornbread muffins to start and cookies after. Everyone was very nice and pleasant.

We love this place! Such a good atmosphere, wonderful food and great staff! We eat here almost every weekend for breakfast and their pancakes are perfect.
My first time at this place ever and it was marvelous. The group of a sat on the patio and it was beautiful outside and enhanced by excellent service. I had the Cobb salad and I would do it all over again. And then they give you cookies at the end. Wonderful place and you should all go.
Loved every moment here. The Eggs with rich sauce tasted amazing while the hearty wrap delivered great flavor. Warm corn muffins arrived first, then sweet cookies closed the meal, which felt like a kind extra. The staff stayed kind, welcoming, plus very pleasant during the visit. This spot deserves repeat visits.
Charlie & Friend is such a hidden gem! Had brunch with my hubby and it was absolutely amazing. The Eggs Benedict were WOW, perfectly cooked and so flavorful. And the Swedish pancakes (crepes)? To. Die. For. The service was so sweet and welcoming, and the patio was the perfect spot to relax on a sunny Cali day. Can’t wait to come back!
